Where? In the colorful Worlds of Spectacle in Linz city center ...

Spread over 40 locations in five Pflasterspektakel zones (Landstraße, Altstadt, Hauptplatz, Pfarrplatz, Promenade) and nine street theater and music islands, the artistes transform Linz center city with their creative virtuosity.

HOW? The artistes put the program together themselves ...

As a rule the groups of artists perform three hour-long shows at different locations in the five Pflasterspektakel zones.

It is not the festival organizers who decide when and where the artistes will perform, but the artistes themselves in the morning of each day of the festival.

Around midday the program for the day is printed. When the festival starts the freshly printed programs are distributed to the information stands in the city center from where they are handed out.
The program for each day is also available online. If you subscribe to the newsletter the program will be sent to you by email as soon as it is ready on each day of the festival.

This unique feature of the Pflasterspektakel also makes its organization highly flexible and varied!
