Free seating tickets

Secure your free-seating tickets for the Kaleidoscope Nights and the following street theater courtyards:

  • Courtyard of Landhaus-Arkadenhof (street theatre)
  • Courtyard of Bridgehead-Building East Brückenkopf-Ost (street theatre)
  • Courtyard of Sparkassenplatz (street theatre)

All these venues are equipped with seats.

Free seating tickets are available on the day of the event at the beginning of the festival (Thursday: 4 pm., Friday & Saturday: 2 pm.) at the Info Point in the Main Square.

A certain number of tickets will also be reserved to be distributed 10 minutes before the performance begins in the courtyard and every evening 10 minutes before the start of the Kaleidoscope Night in the LINZ AG Spektakel Tent at Pfarrplatz.

A maximum of 4 tickets per person / Kaleidoscope Night. No (telephone) reservation! In the courtyards there is also sufficient standing room, for which of course no seat tickets are required.

Your mini-guide to making the most of the Pflasterspektakel!

  1. Shortly before the clock strikes the hour, go and find a place to stand at one of the 40 or so performance locations. This will guarantee you a place in the front row!
    Why? Because new groups of artistes come to each of the locations every hour on the hour, and new performances start everywhere.
     
  2. Leave the most crowded area around the Hauptplatz and Landstraße and head for the Pflasterspektakel zones in the old quarter (Altstadt), on Pfarrplatz, at Schillerpark, in Domgasse.
    Why? Your personal favorites will also be performing there, because each group has to choose three different locations every day for reasons of fairness.
     
  3. Visit the street theater and music islands in the inner courtyards which you will find off Landstraße, near the Hauptplatz or in the Altstadt. You will be able to enjoy the performances in a particularly relaxed atmosphere there.
    Why? For the most part, seating is available in these courtyards.

  4. Don’t miss Kaleidoscope Nights!
    Why? Street artists will present some of the highlights of their shows daily at 9.30 pm. in the LINZ AG Spectacle Tent on Pfarrplatz.

  5. You can line up reserved seat tickets at the Infostand on Thursday from 4 pm., and on Friday & Saturday from 2 pm.
    Why? To enjoy the show from a seat right up front, this is the only way to go!
