At about 40 performance locations in the Pflasterspektakel zones Altstadt (Old Town), Pfarrplatz, Hauptplatz (Main Square), Promenade & Herrenstraße as well as along the Landstraße performances are presented every hour on the hour.

In accord with Linz’ cultural focal point “young art – young audience” this year, the Pflasterspektakel features some specials for kids. Circus workshops offer the opportunity to try out artistry in the manege. Afterwards the teens from the circus group “Muhfit” present a play for kids at the LINZ AG Spectacle Tent. The courtyard of Landhaus Arkadenhof is the setting for “Hands-on Music” where artists perform music together with kids from the audience. The “Children’ Spectacle” at Promenade and Pfarrplatz offer games and fun as well as handicraft workshops.

Smooth music combined with unique chill-out-area make up the “Sound Yard” Altes Rathaus. Fans of music will also enjoy the daily “Concert Night” at the romantic setting of Landhaus Arkadenhof or rhythms of South America full of joie de vivre and drive during the “Samba Parade”.

An insider tip is the “Street Theatre” located at courtyards and special places. Five international companies present the broad spectrum of theatre in public space.

A revue of street performance art is presented daily at the “Kaleidoscope Nights” at the LINZ AG Spectacle Tent. During these 90minutes shows artists present selected samples of their performances.
