Program Program

30th Linzer Pflasterspektakel Linz - 21 to 23 July 2016

At about 40 performance locations in the Pflasterspektakel zones Altstadt (Old Town), Pfarrplatz, Hauptplatz (Main Square), Promenade, along Landstraße and Herrenstraße as well as at the Domplatz performances are presented every hour on the hour.

A true insiders‘ tip is the street theatre program at cozy courtyards where you can experience international theatre and performance art – from contemporary circus to dance or aerial acrobatics – under the skies at fixed performances times.

A multifaceted music program is offered at the two „Music-Spots“ Landhaus-Arkadenhof and Post-Innenhof with a magnificent ambiance.

When the Samba Parades push their way through the crowd, hot rhythms and joie de vivre are making up the atmosphere along Promenade.

At the „Children’s Spectacle“ the young audience can indulge in a wide range of games and creative workshops. The „Children’s Culture Stage“ and interactive art installations complement the program.

From 9 p.m. the magic of fire performances fascinates the audiences.

Night owls can finish the festival day at the Nightlines in pubs and bars.

Artists from Linz are part of the program tagged as „Local Art“. Young talents from Austria get the opportunity to perform for a huge audience as „Pflasterspektakel-Nachwuchs“. As UNESCO City of Media Arts, Linz is happy to present „Media Art“ performances at Pflasterspektakel.
