29th Linzer Pflasterspektakel: 23. - 25. July 2015

Welcome to Pflasterspektakel – International Street Art Festival!

At the 29th Pflasterspektakel from 23 to 25 July 2015, the city centre of Linz becomes a setting for international street art. The Pflasterspektakel – one of the biggest street art festivals in Europe – will again present an excellent variety of object and improvisation theatre, music of all kinds, dance, circus artistry, high-wire and fire acrobatics as well as clownery and comedic performance art at the highest level.


Performances are presented every hour on the hour in the various performance zones - the Pflasterspektakel Worlds Altstadt, Promenade, Pfarrplatz, Hauptplatz (main square), Landstraße as well as various inner courtyards and special squares.


The day's program  including exact performance locations and times is updated daily and available at the Infopoints, by newsletter or can be downloaded here when the festival starts (Thursday: 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday: 2 p.m.).

Special program highlights

 Pflaster-Salon“: Filmscreening „Urban Nomads“
The documentary „Urban Nomads“ accompanies three artists, showing their ups and downs when performing and giving private insight in the life of a busker.
A film by Gregor Buchhaus and Paulus Jakob. Original language (English, German, Polish) with German subtitles

Wed., 22 July, 6.30 p.m. at Central

Street theatre at Domplatz
For the first time the Domplatz, next to the New Cathedral, because a location of the street theatre program. Two companies will show their outstanding performances:
circoPitanga (Israel / Switzerland) with „Nuptial Roses“, a circus show full of acrobatics and aerials, and Los Galindos (Spain) with „Maiurta“ a playful peace taking place in nomadic tent.

 

Pflaster-Stool – a must have for fans
Another kind of souvenir! With this foldable stool made of cardboard you'll be optimally fitted for a long day full of street art. The Pflaster Stool is extremly sturdy, steady and easily to take with you. A must have for all Pflasterspektakel enthusiasts. Available for € 5,- at the Infopoint Hauptplatz.
