At the Pflasterspektakel Linz, taking place from July 17th to 19th, around 100 professional artist groups and solo performers from more than 40 countries transform Linz‘ city centre into a unique venue of international street art.
The Pflasterspektakel – one of the biggest street art festivals in Europe – presents an excellent variety of object and improvisation theatre, music of all kinds, dance, circus artistry, aerial and fire acrobatics as well as clownery and comedic performance art at the highest level.
This year visitors can look forward to popular program highlights such as the Opening Parade, the Samba Parade or the Kaleidoscope Nights, where street artists present a show with selected segments of their repertoire. The Street Theatre program at various courtyards in the city centre will present various facets of international theatre and performance art. Selected locations will offer a wide range of music performances for fans of music. Also local artists present their works and projects on public space.
As a special visitor service a new edtion of the Pflaster-Stool, a foldable card stool, will be offered during the festival. With this gimmick you’re perfectly equipped for an extensive day full of street art!
The “Kinderspektakel” offers a special program for kids including theatre for young audiences.
In the Pflasterspektakel Festival Program, all artists and locations are presented. You can order the Festival Program (only in German) via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You’ll find the detailed program on this website from July 2nd on.
